The runway works was completed in February, with an extra 25mm thickness, increasing the pavement strength.  With the centre line raised, ensuring water run off we can expect a greater longevity and durability from the runway.

Using the surplus millings left over from the runway works an extention to the current apron is planned and proposals for additional taxiways is under way.
